March 1-31, 2002 -- Headliner woes

After having reupholstered the main saloon and pilot house, we decided that we had to do something about the headliner also.

So, we headed down to the fabric stores and purchased new headliner for the main saloon, port and starboard staterooms, heads and the utility room.

Sounds like an easy task doesn't it? It is only 14 panels. It kept us busy for almost 3 weeks! And what a task it was! We averaged 1 panel per day.

The change in the boat is dramatic. It really has improved the look and feel of the boat. But, we don't ever plan to do our own headliner again. It was painful to say the least.
