We decided to move the boats to Lucya after Anne talked with the dockmaster at the Lucyan Village Marina. We headed out at 1220 GMT and arrived at 1700 GMT.
We headed into Port Lucya market place for dinner and to look around about 6:00 PM EST. We had dinner at Allie's. We each had a different conch dish, then tasted each one. They were all very tasty. After dinner, we went back to the market place square to watch the band for a bit before finally returning to the boat to celebrate New Years. We rang in the New Year with 2 sets of fireworks, one from Freeport and the other from Lucya.
All in all, it was a pretty decent way to celebrate the turn of the millennium.
